How to Be More Socially Adept When You're Asking Questions
If you see that someone looks offended by the question you asked or there's a one word answer then it might just be, okay, maybe I should avoid that question in the future. It's better to avoid stereotypes or generalizations. You can kind of take the first step by sharing something about you first. Like do you have any special dishes that you like in South Africa? That's a way to kind of get the other person open up.
