This chapter explores the historical development of vocalizing the sacred tetragrammaton, Yahweh, as well as the tradition in Judaism of avoiding its pronunciation and substituting it with terms such as Adonai. It highlights the evolution of vocalization practices over centuries and the sanctification of everyday activities through the invocation of the Divine Name.
