The Role of Process Definition in Hybrid Work Friction

I propose to the companies I work with is to look at hybrid work friction in relation to the things we took for granted in the office. So, for example, process definition, if you don't have processes defined, people can't work effectively. And what are the factors, I suppose, that affects us most because I can only imagine that it's going to differ right from organization to organization. Do you have any tried and tested methods of almost taking stock of what is our hybrid work friction? Because I suppose this is probably the first step towards eliminating these obstacles, right?
