The impact of a context switching well ripples out beyond the actual time that you're looking at these apps. I'm like, that's the issue with email, for example, people learn about 15 years ago. Don't keep your email literally open next to the thing you're doing. Like it used to be, Bing, let me go check my email. So they think like I'm good now. I'm single tasking, but they go and check the inbox every 10 minutes. It's almost just as bad because each of those checks is going to generate a 17 minute loss in concentration.
