Teaching My Children to Advocate for Theirself

Teaching your kids to advocate for themselves is a big part of my parenting. I want them to know how to discuss any issue or struggle with their bosses, their college professors, friendships and romantic relationship. We have to be able to advocate for ourselves. So they need practice at making a bad choice. That's how we get better,. Next time, think about, i didn't like how that turned out last time.I'm going to do that differently so they can problem solve what didn't work the last time. This is why helicopter parenting just robs them of all that opportunity.
