Can Fasting Improve Longevity?

I'm curious if there are caveats to that around maybe more just circadian based fasting of eating when the sun's out and not eating right before bed. Do you see any benefits in a longevity approach to longer forms of fasting like the ones recommended by a lot of the major religions at different times during the year? I think this is a really excellent question. So what we understand is that fasting is excellent. We know the calorie restriction and mammals across every species that's ever been tried and does improve longevity.
