The Role of Venom in the Evolution of Animals
venom is a poisonous creation of animal produced by specialized glands that are often associated with spines, teeth, stings, or other piercing devices. And it's also relative then to the organism that's eating it, which is interesting because you think of like, this is a poison, like a noun, but it might not be poisonous to something. In general, pesticides are dangerous for us because they are poisons, but it comes down to the dose that you take in. One tiny dose of poison isn't the same as a bigger dose of poison, obviously.
