The Legend of Mannequin Peace
The story goes that in the 14th century, the 1300s, Brussels was under siege by a regional power. A little boy named Juliansek who was spying on them while they were preparing for this attack on the city. He waited and when the dynamite charge was placed, that would have triggered other explosions as well, he ran forward and wanted to put the thing out. And so the Belgian legend of Juliansek is that he is the boy who saved the city by taking a leak.
