My wife is an executive assistant for an investment manager from America. Her job involves her buying things for his day-to-day life, often only tangentially involved with his day job investing huge amounts of money and being very wealthy. Over a period of a month, my wife had spent around 987 pounds on her credit cards on items such as cabs, flowers, and other things that high-flying execs spend their money on. When she checked her balance to find out that the well-meaning but clumsy-fingered millionaire had not transferred her the correct amount of 987 pounds, it turned out he had transferred her 987,000 pounds quid. We were rich.
