The Evolution of Suffering
The reason that suffering is bad or that it's experience is bad is because we've evolved to feel suffering. As a Darwinian I would have to say you could breed animals that might pain. homosexual behavior doesn't do any harm it doesn't hurt anybody it doesn't cause any suffering. If somebody has a philosophical belief that inflicting pain is good then they should not be allowed to live in a society where people don't have insurance.
