The Conflict of Interest in a Survey

Dr. Skidmore published an anonymous survey asking people if they knew anyone who had suffered a stroke, heart attack or other adverse event. He was criticized for not doing enough to corroborate the results with real-world data. The journal said he used his name as the person who funded the study and accused him of having a conflict of interest. Dr.Skidmore: "You can't get more screwball than this"
