The Future of Cloud Computing

The key here is accountability. Right now, as developers, we have like phenops running all the time and it's getting more traction. We're actually being measured on how much money we spend on the cloud. But no one's measuring our emissions right now. And there isn't really a good way of doing it. I think once we get to that stage where we'll be held accountable... then we need to take those decisions into account.
