The key to the ulysses contract is recognizing that we are different people in different contexts. bitcoin could be viewed as one of these ultimate ulysses contracts, because it's we've set a money in place that no one can change. The lower your time preference, the more long term thinking you are. So there are many ways wh we make contracts with ourselves to bind our future behaviour.
