David Bowie is the kind of artist where if you're a fan of his and you read any honest book written about him, you're probably going to wish you didn't read that book. The next stage of Bowie's career often gets called an imitation of Philly soul, which it obviously partly was. He just jacked this shit straight from Roxy music. Nyle Rogers is on record saying he's at least an uncredited co-writer on the song Let's Dance. If he's telling the truth, it sounds like he wrote the whole fucking song after Bowie brought in a piece of trash.
