Is the Corrupt State Narrative Getting Worse?

When does the corrupt state narrative become salient? And i think that's why these two movements are very interesting. Corruption itself, everything from petty corruption to sort of grand level corruptions is being exposed in media and other forms of investigations. So there's more, too, the mileu in which these anti corruption movements emerge than simply the fact that corruption is a salient issue. They don't happen in a vacuum.
