The Importance of Physicality in Comedy

One of my favorite bits from the movie is Sally putting each envelope in the mailbox like during the montage and watching Billy Crystal's physicality there is very funny. The camera is like a really cool telephoto shot where you get just blurred passerby yes but very little of it feeling of they're still on the city street right? Ryan: "The focus is very much on them (the actors) so another thing that Rob Reiner always does is he's always giving the actors something to do"
