Spring Comes Before You Can See It
Spring happens before you can see it, before you can feel it. The women trampled in so much soil each day on her boots that there was worn lines from the back door to the front. She stole their flowers and filled her house with tiny, exquisitely designed buds covered in sleeves of fur That sprung open and sneezed pollen in the heat of her home. But like the soil on her fingers at lunch, she liked inviting her in. And just like that, the sun reappeared with warm winds.
