The idea of having tradable carbon credits is something I've been working on for about four or five years, badly because there's so much neoclassical nonsense that we don't have an added chance to do it properly. But there's a website called ecocore.org. That's promoting that idea, by another friend of mine, Adam Hardy. And equally on rationing, the point about Germany and the Second World War that Kate made earlier is completely valid,. and I think we'll need rationing to get through the catastrophic consequences of climate change. When they do start happening, rationing would be about the honourable to hold together a cohesive society.
