On Tuesday evening, the Wall Street Journal posted an op-ed by Samuel Alito. It was precipitated by ProPublica emailing the justice some questions about a story they were planning to run. He said he would like you all to know that all of this is no big deal because one, the personal jet seat would have been empty if Alito hadn't taken it,. Two, the lodge that Alito stayed at for free hadn't even been renovated. And while they may or may not have served wine, who can recall, if they were served wine, it definitely did not taste like $1,000 wine.
