There's extreme backlash towards the Fed because it's People are gonna get laid off and they're gonna price us into a recession right to slow things down. I think the Press overstates the kind of idea that They did this during the Trump years, you know Oh, this is unprecedented president has been saying this and stuff It's not a precedent The only presidents who? Respected the independence of the Fed were Clinton George W Bush the second and Obama those were the only ones no other presidents stayed out of it All interfered a lot some much worse than presidents modern ones.
