Women on the Front Line - Women's Rights in Iran
For weeks now, we are seeing protests day by day and it has spread from largest cities in Iran to smallest towns that many Iranians had never heard of. Women's being on the forefront can make the movement become a culmination of many grievances because experiencing oppression as a woman connects you to multiple sections of the society. So it makes it by nature an intersectional movement, which means more inclusive and more likely to reach its demands. It does look like support is now reaching white, color and blue, color occupations including the oil workers.
