The Ghost Dance in Lakota
Some of the Sioux were traveling some more to get the full story on that dance, men like Shortbull and Kicking Bear. They told the people that they could dance a new world into being. One of the things that many ghost dancers expected was the arrival of a savior or one a kia in Lakota. Wavoka had said that Jesus would be reincarnated in 1892; others thought that Wavoka himself would be the wannakea or savior.
