Do You Really Need a Case on Your Phone?

The back of the iPhone X has been damaged by a rock. The case is kind of holding it together, but you can't repair it yourself. You have to get an appointment with apple care plus the damaged one. So i goa t Tuesday morning to get it, get it fixed. I would love not to have to replace the phone completely. It mins under applecare plus amnil, i'll have to pay the service fee. But going to a new phone in such a pain,. So i hopefully they can just fix this one.
