The Cost of Being a High Baseline Apologier
People with high apology baselines are seen as slightly less competent and more so less assertive. But those correlations were pretty small, what we found was a much stronger correlation with being seen as very warm and moral and relational and caring. So if you're going to be a high frequency apologizer and apologize for everything, just make sure you're apologizing well. It's not associated with a hit to your assertiveness or power.
