How Do You Tease Out Correlation and Causation?

In your book, you talk about sexual satisfaction and over relationship satisfaction. How is that connected? Ye, one of the hard things with doing a survey is how do you tease out correlation and causation? When we took a closer look at the numbers, it did seem as if mertal satisfaction was more connected to sexual satisfaction than the other way around. And so we did a ton of focus groups to expand on this, to try to tease this out. A sexual relationship on its own cannot fix a bad marriage. But when you have a good marriage, you will tend to be able to deal with sexual issues better.
