Facebook's Algorithm Promotes Things That Induce Anger
The allegation is at least that thacebook has built an algarithm, a piece of soft ware. And essentially the charge here is that their algaritms promote things that polarize society and induce shock or anger. That's basically face book's argument. You only really have to look at the top ten most chaired posts on facebook. They are often pretty extreme, right left wing viewpoints. Those kinds of posts simply do better than reasoned, rational posts many times over.
