The idea that the vaccine was a silver bullet is still so pervasive. The last major development December 2021 we need to talk about is the abrupt shift. This was made with the explicit intention of getting people back into the workplace quicker, whether they were still shedding virus or not. There's no scientific basis for that people are often still infectious after five days.
