What's the Beginning of the Sabbath?
The sun is setting on the Sabbath. The Sabbath is finally over with all of its perceived restrictions and things I'm not allowed to do. And now what do they do? All they that had any sick with diverse diseases brought them unto him. He laid his hands on every one of them and healed them. When it was day, it sounds like he probably spent that whole night healing. But when it was day and in the Mark version, it even says that Jesus rose up a great while before day. This sounds like a sleepless night for him but he departed and went into a desert place. Because the real rest I need comes from heaven, comes from prayer, not from my pillow
