This summer, I wanna ask you to lean in because you have the chance to be mentored by the apostle Paul and invited out of a somewhat boring faith into one of adventure and risk. The next thing he says is this, a big theme is one of joy. This series is called defiant joy. We live in a time of history that is cold or what? It's addicted to the cult of happiness. Happiness comes from getting what you want. Conflict comes when desires are blocked.
