Simon Turing's ideas are still being used all the time in computer science. One of his most important arguments, an argument we're still exploring, is that computers have to be in contact with humans so that computers can adapt to us. That seems to me to be an immensely important argument, whose implications we still haven't exhausted. And incidentally, hedid give talks on the radio a and gave ver interesting talk full up to this 19 50 paper.
