Physio Edge podcast with David Pope

CHAPTER

The Neuromodulator Effect

The body has its own mechanisms within how it perceives pain and so if I was telling you to a patient the body modulates pain everybody has their own neural matrix. There are six different ways of doing that and this particular approach will target probably four of those six mechanisms. It can target no-susceptive pain the pain experience which is expectations placebo no-sibo really that is the only that's probably the only a mechanism that has been shown in the literature on how manual therapy works. The positive thing about this is that if we do see a modulatory approach or a modulatory success with this it suggests that long term you're going to do well.
