Nikkei Asia Interview With Kerwin Jie

Taiwan People's Party chairman Kerwin Jie spoke to Nikkei Asia earlier this week. In the interview, he touted his belief that Taiwan can learn from Japan and Singapore on how to navigate tensions between the United States and China. He also criticized the DPP as being a pro-war party due to its strong stance against Beijing's pressure. Also described the KMT as being too deferential towards Beijing at this time of tension.
