The Horror of Lot's Messengers
Genesis often unfavorably contrasts Lot to his nephew Abraham, and yet again Lot blows it. Where Abraham offered God's messengers a grand carnivorous feast, the best that Lot can do is a stack of pitter bread and a few tubs of bubbling newsion to bully. You really have to wonder about a man who would throw his virgin daughters to a mob to be raped, rather than let his male guests be molested.
