Afghanistan - The Good War, the Worst War
The thing that i was struck by in thinking about the vienam afghanistan is the humorous involved in thinking that we could essentially impose our will. Just a few years later, when we forget. Like the world whare two is called the good war. It's the worst war ever, david, the worst war. 60 million human beings, where lives were extinguished. And where somehow this is e good war because the cause wewa was clear. That tells you less about world war too, than it does about subsequent wars that were less.
