The Importance of Classical Books
The reason we still read these things is because they're saying something true. The book that comes to my mind is Jane Eyre. You're not gonna totally appreciate it but maybe in 20 years you'll think back on this and you'll either remember or you'll reread and you'll say like oh That's why that book matters or that story matters. And I always think that's so fascinating because I'm Red Jane Eyre and you can all judge me and I don't want to read it either.
