The people who built the united states, it's not really correct to think of it as aa population on that kind of large national or ethnic scale. I mean, these were literally on the scale of like, family networks. A few hundred families or a few hundred extended clans that came together and built a country. That is the scale on which political action occurred on the american continent. Ah, and it's a very different way of looking at this then these kind of grand narratives, you know, of nations or peoples in this like, very bloodless, abstract sense,. rising up against their enemies.
