Can Rationality Help Us Select Ultimate Ends?
Can reason help us reach ultimate ends? Yes, i think we should. But it seems to me that if huma right, that rationality can't be used to select ultimate ends, that we're ultimately completely unhinged. Hitler could have been perfectly rational in pursuit of his ends,. If the end is exterminating the jewish people, then he was know ulto rational how to accomplish it. He noted that it's not rational, in tha strict sense of rationality, to prefer being healthy suposed to seck, uncomfortable and uncomfortale.
