The Newt in the Middle of Nowhere

Irish toads have been spotted in the Dublin hills. They are around the same size as frogs, and don't seem to be doing any harm. The white two shrews introduced Ireland has basically wiped out the pygmy shrew. An alpine newt was found in a bog in the middle of nowhere by a colleague.
