Tax Avoidance Is Legal, Not Moral

The IRS hasn't had enough money to do its job for years, which is reflected in audit rates at all time lows. 36% of evaded taxes are owed by just the top 1% of households; this is a feature, not a bug. Cutting the IRS's budget has effectively raised taxes on lower and middle-income households. Fixing this should be a bipartisan issue: Give the IRS back the resources to enforce the law.
