Evidence of a Poverty Trap
Poverty trap is the idea that if people are below a certain line, they're stuck. The theory is talked about both in the context of individuals and countries. But there's not really strong evidence that poverty traps exist at the individual level. And i think we should take that as a positive, not a negative. It doesn't mean that accelerating the end of poverty is not an importantand objective.
