The site's major constituency were left of centr lawyers at the very senior levels of the obana administration. As those people came out of governmenta many of them ended up writing for law fare. And we had lots of critics early on, and it was very important to us that we give them an outlet. The only thing we insisted on was that the debates stay high minded and not get personal.
