The Importance of Balance in Foreign Policy
India has a developmental perspective that maybe puts it closer to China and maybe the global south. It also has economic preferences that sort of, and certain values that put it closer to the EU and the US. So in a way, maybe an uncomfortable in between place because it doesn't neatly fit into a category. And my reading of the foreign policy of the current Indian administration is exactly that I think they're trying to leverage this.
