FTX - What's the Connection Between Architecture and Architecture?
Working at FTX has given me an appreciation for just how behind a lot of the infrastructure is on other exchanges. I think it's informed how much the focus of architect should be kind of wrapping up the complexity of these different exchanges and providing like a really good API for institutions and individuals who want to trade all the time. People are much less likely to trust a centralized institution with their personal information especially things like the keys that allow you to trade on their exchange account or the keys that give you access to their wallet. So we're thinking about how to design architects such that the user can connect to all these places and hook up their wallets without needing to ever give us any of their private credentials
