Is Identity Interrupting With Practices of Citizenship?

The sixth chapter is taking those meanings of identification and looking at how and if and why they might act intercept with different practices of citizenship in Crimea. In the book I look at who wanted Russian citizenship who was interested in engaging with it and how did that intersect with identity, similarly who identified as compatriots and who was interest in engaging with the compatriot policy. Only politicized Russians saw Russian citizenship as desirable every other category were like we have zero interest in Russian citizenship according to my research.
