The Power of Words

In 1674, workers doing a renovation at the Tower of London found a wooden chest tucked away beneath an old staircase. The bones were gathered up and placed in an elaborate marble urn and then buried in Westminster Abbey. They were labeled with a pretty presumptive claim too: Here lie the relics of Edward V, King of England,. And then, after a bit of pomp, they were slowly forgotten again. Almost a century ago, in 1933, the urn was opened and the contents were re-examined. It seems that the bones did indeed match those of two boys that were in that nine to twelve-year-old range.
