How to Reuse a Fixture in Your Project

You can have a Conf test file at all, at any directory or multiple ones. You can start out at a file level and then maybe move it to a directory level if you want to share it between tests. The other thing I really like about fixtures is that the setup and turn around are in the same file or in the same function. They're just divided by a yield keyword. Whereas in unit tests, you've got the setup and turned down completely separated into two different functions.
