The Importance of Consequent Will

God's antecedent will is what he would have willed if everything had been up to him alone. But given what humans will, he gets his consequent will. If God will that it didn't happen, it wouldn't happen. That's what it is to be omnipotent. It doesn't follow that God decided we'd have earthquakes. And that's the way to think about evil in the world. In Cain and Abel, you can see the point really clearly.
