The New CARES Act Will Allow More Testing on SSPF Ingredients
The FDA asked the cosmetic industry for more testing on 12 sunscreen ingredients. That's all null and void now because of a change to the CARES Act. "I really think this is going to be ultimately a good thing for customers," she says. However, like always, it puts the onus for proving safety on the companies making the ingredients.
