Timothy Stanley: I was gratified to see that you struggled a question that i too struggled with in writing my book. You talk about the replication crisis in the social sciences, and all these reasons why seemingly solid, randomize control trials or other studies turned out to fail to replicateand were kind of discredited. And so i was just curious to talk about what huristics you landed on for when to trust a paper enough to, you know, cit it in a book a verses not. So let me give you two answers. There's the there's the, kind of, the approved answer, and then there's the honest answer.
