How to Get Started With Python
The BBC micro-vet getting started with MicroPython by Simon Monk was one of the ones that I used. There's something satisfying about being able to load a piece of code into a device and seeing it light up or seeing an image or pressing a button. The output of your code is much more tangible and hands-on. This actually starts with MicroPython in the beginning and you don't get to see the make code interface until like chapter 12.
This week, Kelly and Sean review their top Python books for teachers. They cover everything from classics like Automate the Boring Stuff with Python and Invent Your Own Computer Games to the newest books like Impractical Python Projects and Coffee Break Python.
